Sharon is a small town girl still living in the same locale. After graduation she did go to Clarion University to prepare for her lifelong career in special education. For student teaching she took the opportunity to work with Ute children at a summer camp in Utah which was a highlight of her career. A big step was taken to teach in New Orleans, Louisiana for her first year. But a small town called her back home where she worked with emotional support and learning disabled students.  During her career she completed a master’s equivalency and a master of education in English as a Second Language.
